The directors are well connected within the building industry and at times, have been registered builders themselves. These working relationships, developed over many years, are integral to obtaining current and accurate advice. Motus recognises the expertise and value industry contacts can bring to a project.
Motus Architecture was established in 2011, when the practice Peter Jodrell Architect grew to such an extent that Peter, together with other key members Simon Jodrell and Adriano Piviali, decided that forming a new entity would best serve the evolving practice. The creation of Motus Architecture offered a wonderful platform from which to strive for continued growth and success.
Motus Property was established in 2012, when the directors of Motus Architecture saw a need in the market for a bespoke architecturally focused developer. Kate Whitton joined the team as a director of Motus Property, bringing with her a wealth of property development knowledge.
A number of talented design and development professionals have since joined the Motus team, each committed to producing exceptional results for our valued clients.

Graduating from the University of Western Australia in 2004, Adriano began his career at one of Perth’s leading design firms, gaining a broad range of experience working as project leader on numerous projects ranging from small homes to large scale mixed use developments.
What inspires Adriano about architecture is the ability to enhance the way people experience and inhabit spaces and influence our culture as a whole.
Adriano is passionate about architecture and has a clear focus on sustainable design that embraces new environmentally friendly technologies. When combined with his rigorous attention to detail, the foundations are set for a great design and construction ethos that drives both himself and the practice.
