The project site neighbours Motus’ Elysium project in Como. This mixed use project was part of a wider urban renewal initiative by the state housing authority.
This infill project is part of a larger town centre rejuvenation that is occurring throughout the inner suburbs of Perth. The original design included six apartments and one ground level commercial suite in the place of an existing standalone house on site. The building façade was designed to replicate and tie into the Elysium development, visually extending the box motif around the corner. During documentation, the scope was amended to nine apartments at the request of the client.
